9 Tony Awards say it's the best musical of the year! The Book of Mormon follows two young missionaries who are sent to Uganda to try to convert citizens to the Mormon religion. One missionary, is an enthusiastic go-getter with a strong dedication to his faith, while his partner is a socially awkward nerd. This show features several big song-and-dance numbers accompanied by some old-fashioned Broadway belting.
From Trey Parker and Matt Stone, four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of "South Park," and Tony Award-winner Robert Lopez, co-creator of the musical Avenue Q, comes THE BOOK OF MORMON, a new Broadway musical described as "The Best Musical of This Century."
